National Tourism and Leisure Block Wuma Historical and Cultural Block is an important part of Wenzhou which was once known as the “dipper-shaped city of mountains and waters”. The ancient Wenzhou city was laid out with temples in the east, markets in the south, residence in the west, port in the north, and administration in the middle. The block represented exactly the core area of the eastern and southern part of Wenzhou city, and now boasts key historical streets and alleys such as Wuma Street, Chanjie Street, Gongyuan Road, and Mochi Lane.
