The Cangnan 168 Cultural Tourism Special Route Bus made its first journey.

When it comes to exploring Cangnan’s 168 Golden Coast, besides driving cars, what other transportation options are available? Recently, the Cangnan CX01 special tourist bus route was officially opened with three 19-seat new energy buses. It provides citizens and tourists with a convenient route to fully explore the northern section of Cangnan’s 168 Golden Coast.

This special bus route starts from Chongjia’ao Village in Yanting Town, passing by Longtaibei, Yanting Scenic Area, Haikou Scenic Area, Shipeng Community in Jinxiang Town, and Da’aoxin Village in Dayu Town, and ends at Xiaoyutinghai station in Dayu Town. It consists of a total of 7 stops and covers a distance of approximately 38 kilometers. The first bus departs at 8:30 a.m., and the last at 5:30 p.m., with three buses operating on a shift work schedule. The fare ranges from 2 to 8 yuan per person per trip based on the distance traveled. By scanning the QR code, passengers can access real-time bus information, significantly reducing waiting time.

On the day of the opening of Cangnan’s “168 Cultural Tourism Special Route,” reporters observed at the CPC Service Center Square in Chongjia’ao Village that three brand-new buses were lined up in sequence. The buses were adorned with the painting of green mountains and blue sea, and were also marked with text such as “168 Gold Coast.” Mr. Chen, a resident of Qianku Town in Cangnan, happened to be visiting the 168 Gold Coast with a group of friends from urban area Wenzhou. Upon seeing the newly opened special route at the starting point, he said, “During holidays, there are many vehicles on the coastal highway. With the addition of the bus service, we can now directly park our cars at the starting or ending point, and take the bus to visit each stop without worrying about parking issues midway. Traveling has become more convenient.”

Villagers in Chongjia’ao Village have also praised the improved transportation. In the past, there was only one village-to-village public transportation route from Chongjia’ao Village to Jinxiang Town, with only two trips per day, mainly serving inland villages. After the opening of the new coastal route, people now have more travel options and can also enjoy the coastal scenery along the way.

In the past two years, scenic spots such as Longtaibei, Yanting Scenic Area, and Sweetu Coffee have become widely known, driving the passenger flow in the northern section of Cangnan’s 168 Golden Coast to repeatedly reach new highs. Li Mian, the marketing manager of tourism products at Cangnan County Tourism Investment Group, introduced that as the next step, they will further promote the integrated development of transportation and tourism, leveraging the resource advantages of widely covered passenger transportation routes to lay out cultural tourism routes of public transportation, to satisfy the personalized travel needs of tourists and villagers.
