The 36th Turin International Book Salon opened on May 9th, Beijing time. Books and cultural products showcasing the culture of Wencheng County, including the culture of Liu Bowen and the county's traditional heritage, made their debut at this international book fair, attracting considerable attention from visitors on site.

Established in 1988, the Turin International Book Salon is one of Europe's major literary events held annually. This year's edition attracted around 2,000 global publishers, presenting the latest books and publications. Supported by WenCheng County, Wenzhou Wuchuang Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., as an exhibitor at this salon, brought a collection of Liu Bowen's works and books showcasing research and promotion of Liu Bowen's culture, such as "Yulizi" "Eight Spring Poems in Cursive Script" "The Comic of Liu Bowen" and "Collected Books of Liu Bowen Culture". They also exhibited hundreds of cultural heritage handicrafts and creative products from Wen Cheng, including stone carvings, paper cuts, teapots, tea cups, tie-dye, incense, and Rubik's cubes. Moreover, it aimed to introduce the cultural heritage and landscape of "Bowen's Hometown" to the organizers and residents of Turin through promotional events.

These exhibits drew the attention of international audiences, particularly the fable-style prose collection "Yulizi" by Liu Bowen, which received considerable popularity through live interpretation. This genre, which presents social observations and reflections in vivid and easy-to-understand stories, is more readily accepted by Western audiences influenced by works such as Aesop's Fables. The various Wencheng cultural heritage handicrafts at the booth also attracted many visitors, who praised the exquisite craftsmanship of these products and admired the local traditional culture they embody.

The company's general manager, Pan Xuanpu, present at the exhibition, attributed the attention to Wencheng's recent efforts in the exploration, research, and promotion of Liu Bowen culture and local cultural features. Through activities like the Liu Bowen Poetry Prize, Liu Bowen Cultural Tourism Festival, and Taigong Ceremony, the county has published a variety of books and films centered around Liu Bowen, established projects like the Liu Ji Truth-seeking Hall and Liu Bowen Cultural Park, and worked to enhance the influence of local cultural characteristics. Through international communication channels, Wencheng is driving deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture among international friends, thereby contributing to the promotion of outstanding traditional culture.
