On April 26, Ouyue Service Center for Chinese Folk Literature and Art Copyright, the first service center of its kind in Zhejiang Province, was unveiled in Bailu Market, Lucheng District. And it is operated by Wenzhou Ouyue Art Creative Co., Ltd., one of Wenzhou’s top ten copyright enterprises in 2023. On the same day, the Lucheng District Copyright Registration Service Center was relocated and listed from Zhejiang Industry & Trade Vocational College to Wenzhou Copyright Museum. In the future, the two service centers will join hands to accelerate the transformation of copyright works while adhering to originality, and provide copyright services such as copyright consultation, work registration, rights protection assistance, and dispute mediation for folk craftsmen, fully activating the value of cultural assets. In Bailu Market, there locates the Ouyue Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop, which displays intangible cultural and creative products such as Ou sculptures, Ou kilns, Ou embroidery, and wood carvings, with more than 900 registered copyright certificates. Last year, Wenzhou was officially awarded the title of “National Copyright Demonstration City”, and was successfully selected as one of the top ten pilot areas for the protection and promotion of folk literature and art copyright in the country. It is reported that the establishment of the copyright service center is an innovative exploration of Lucheng District for “folk literature and art copyright”. Through copyright empowerment, folk literature and art works will be rejuvenated in the form of image, design, cross-border innovation, and communication. It is said that a total of 1,608 copyright works were registered in Lucheng District last year. |
