The 3rd Global Digital Trade Expo to be Held in Hangzhou

The 3rd Global Digital Trade Expo (hereinafter referred to as “GDTE”) will be held in Hangzhou from September 25 to 29.

On the basis of the previous two GDTEs, the GDTE 2024 will focus on being “national-level, international, and digital trade-oriented.” Through key sections such as exhibitions, supporting activities, achievement releases, and its online platform, it aims to create a showcase that is visually appealing, physically tangible, interactive, and accessible, striving to become a benchmark event in the global digital trade sector.

The total exhibition area reaches 150,000 square meters, an 88% increase from the previous one. Currently, 21 international organizations, including the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and over 1,300 digital trade enterprises have confirmed their participation. Professional procurement delegations from more than 50 countries and regions will attend for on-site procurement. Now the digital trade continues to expand globally.

It is learned that the overall structure of the GDTE 2024 is based on “1+8,” comprising one comprehensive exhibition area and eight special digital industry exhibition areas. Notably, the AI exhibition area will feature a dedicated robot section for the first time, showcasing a full range of robots, including humanoid, cloud-based, and industrial models. Additionally, new technologies from industries such as digital humans, blockchain, and AI will be showcased in both online and offline application and experience scenarios, from immersive and digitized phenomenon, to improve the satisfaction, experience and the sense of gain for attendees.

The fascinating activities always bring countless surprises to the GDTE. In addition to the established events like “Silk Road E-commerce Day” and “GDTE Night,” new themed activities such as “DT Africa Day” and “Investment in China”, will be introduced. Furthermore, several industrial matching events focusing on digital empowerment for green development, low-altitude airspace economy, and digital health will be held, providing a vast platform for dialogue, investment promotion, business negotiations, and trade cooperation among attendees.

As the only national-level exhibition with international and professional features currently focused on digital trade in China, the GDTE highlights the growth engines and competitive track of innovation and development in digital economy, carrying the expectations of an open world economy for new quality productive force. At this GDTE, Zhejiang Province will continue to deliver outstanding results in digital trade

At present, more than 609 Zhejiang digital trade enterprises have confirmed their participation. In addition, a number of major projects will be signed and implemented; universities will jointly participate in the GDTE, building a platform to promote school-enterprise cooperation and government empowerment.
