On March 29, Wenzhou organized a high-end talent recruitment event in Hong Kong, bringing together 10 premium enterprises and institutions, including universities, high-level platform enterprises, national manufacturing champion enterprises, listed company subsidiaries, and specialized, sophisticated, distinctive, and innovative enterprises. The recruitment drive underscored Wenzhou’s commitment to its talent-driven development strategy. As part of a national recruitment tour, the city’s delegation targeted Hong Kong’s elite talent pool, attracting outstanding graduates and professionals from local universities. “The event featured 124 high-paying positions from 10 top-tier Wenzhou employers,” said a representative from the Wenzhou Talent Development Service Center. The roles aligned with the city’s “Industry Talent Recruitment Map,” focusing on key sectors such as academic research, postdoctoral studies, software engineering, product design, and electronics engineering. Employers offered an average monthly salary of RMB 17,000, with the postdoctoral position at Wenzhou CAS Advanced Technology Co., Ltd. topping the list at RMB 40,000, reflecting Wenzhou’s strong appeal to high-caliber talent. The event garnered 71 resumes and secured 14 preliminary job agreements. These recruits are expected to fill critical roles in Wenzhou’s industries, driving future growth. At the venue, booths from Wenzhou University of Technology, Zhejiang Zhimei Intellectual Property Operation Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Huaji Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Wenzhou Zhengjia Education Technology Co., Ltd. drew keen interest from Hong Kong graduates and professionals. Notably, several participating enterprises have long been engaged in Hong Kong recruitment initiatives, deepening talent collaboration between the two regions. During the visit, the delegation also met with the Hong Kong Talent Engagement Office to exchange insights on talent policy innovation and recruitment strategies. Additionally, the delegation held forums with professors and young professionals from The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and The Education University of Hong Kong. They showcased Wenzhou’s industrial strengths and innovation ecosystem, aiming to inspire Hong Kong talent to explore career opportunities in the city. |
